WB Madhyamik 10th result 2023 Out : Debadatta Majhi topped; Pass 86.15%

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has declared the results for the Madhyamik (Class 10) examinations held in 2023.

Debadatta Majhi  has topped in the Madhyamik exam this year securing 99.57 percent while Subham Pal scored 98.71 percent, while the overall pass percentage touched at 86.15 per cent. 

Along with the announcement of the WB Madhyamik result, the board officials have also revealed the exam dates for the WB Madhyamik 2024, scheduled to commence on February 2, 2024.

Several districts in West Bengal have produced exceptional rank holders in this year's Madhyamik examinations. Among them, Malda boasts the highest number of rank holders with 21 students securing top positions. Following closely are North Bardhaman with 17 rank holders, Bankura with 14, and South 24 Parganas with 12.

The third rank in the WB Madhyamik exams has been achieved by a group of talented students including Arka Mondal, Soumyadip Mallick, Mahi Hasan, Swaraj Pal, Arghyadeep Sa. Securing the second rank are Subham Pal and Rifat Hasan.

This year's WB Madhyamik result was unveiled on the official website of the board, showcasing the performance of thousands of students across the state. A significant development in this year's results is the remarkable performance of male candidates, who have once again outperformed their female counterparts. This trend of boys outshining girls has been observed consistently over the past five years.

The number of girls appearing for the Madhyamik exams witnessed a notable increase this year, with 22 percent more female candidates compared to the previous year. This surge in participation demonstrates the growing enthusiasm and determination among girls to excel in their academic pursuits.
